It's Been A While...

I feel terrible. I feel terrible for myself of course. I wanted to start this blog and carry it on, keeping it up to date and taking it seriously. I couldn't stick to it and that dissapoints me. Maybe i'll start it again now and actually keep it going. As I'm writing this I'm seriously considering if I should even publish it. Sitting in my University library wondering how I'm going to use the next 3 hours of my life as I wait for a meeting that's going to be a waste of my time and energy. I feel like I should actually talk about beauty...

So in my previous posts that I've reviewed products (all 2 of them) I've since moved on. It may come as a shock but I don't actually use those products anymore. That's strange to me because I was so convinced that they were my absolute favorites and I'd never depart with them. I suppose as I worked more, I had more money to waste on little things like make up. I say that like make up isn't a big part of my life. It is, it really is. As much as I enjoyed the cheaper make up I've realised how deprived I was. I guess I just didn't take it as serious as I should have. I'm no longer using Natural Collection. Instead, I'm using a range of brands such as Rimmel, Mac, Seventeen, Barry M and Bourjois. They're not expensive brands, I know, but they're more expensive than Natural Collection.

They are better quality, they feel better on my face and they're a lot more flexible to work with.

Natural Collection Corrector Stick Review!

This product is definitely one of my favourites! By the way I'm really sorry about the state of the package but I use it all the time and as you can see I'm running out. What I really love about this product is how it gets rid of redness. Every time I wear foundation I apply this first. I use it over any redness or imperfections on my face that I can see. A lot of people like to blend this product but I find that for my skin this works a lot better if I choose not to blend and I just apply foundation right on top, this is probably the complete wrong thing to do but if it works for me it's what I'm going to do! Now please note this isn't how I would tell everyone to use it because obviously, we all have different skin types and what works for me might not work for you, it's all about trying things out and experimenting.

I read a few other reviews about this product to see what people thought and it seems quite a few people are unsure, but I really think this is one of the best to help with redness. Of course when you first apply it, it's a really light green and I was really shocked to see it on my face and how it kept it's colour but it all makes sense when you have your finished look. You could even use this as a bit of an under foundation highlight because this also works really well if you want to have perfect, healthy looking skin. I'd just apply a bit under the eye and on the T and after you've applied foundation or concealer you'll see a huge change. Even if you don't want to have a full face look and want simplicity, you could apply this in the required areas and then apply some concealer over the top, blend a bit and there you have it!

Overall, I think this product is amazing and I definitely recommend it to anyone suffering with redness or blemishes! The only thing I would say is that I wish you got more in the tube, but for £1.99 you can't complain at all! I would definitely recommend this with the MUA Foundation that I previously reviewed..

MUA Foundation Review

As I said in my first ever post I would love to do reviews on products I have used/own. The first product I would like to do this with is my current foundation which is MUA Matte Perfect Foundation in the shade Fair.
I love this foundation because it does everything right for my skin. As I have really pale skin I needed to find the lightest shade I could when I got this at Superdrug. I really think that anyone with pale skin and also sensitive skin could really find this helpful. As well as giving an even coverage across the whole face, it makes my skin feel super soft and moisturised, even if I haven't moisturised in ages! I find there are NO clumps of foundation, any bits or faults in this product. The tube it comes in has a very small hole in for the foundation to come out which means its extremely hard to overdose when applying to your hand, brush, sponge or fingers. If you do want that bit more then give the bottle a slightly harder squeeze and there you have it!

One thing I will say about this product that I really dislike is the Shine Control. I find this quite a big lie if I'm honest! It might just be me/my skin but I found that when I apply this my skin looks extremely oily and greasy, even after leaving it 10 - 15 minutes it's still as shiny. However, this isn't really a problem for me because I always use a powder to set the foundation to give my face a bit more coverage. Once the power is on the foundation looks stunning and I honestly don't have a bad word to say!

MUA Matte Perfect Shine Control Foundation Fair - £2.00 (absolute steal!)

My First Ever Post!

Welcome to my new page! I basically wanted a page where I could express the side of me that adores make up, hair and anything to do with beauty really. However, I'm not someone that can afford designer brands or the best make up, so really this is for people that can't afford those types of things and have a budget to stick to. I know how frustrating it is to type into youtube a smokey eye or something and all the things the guru's use are well out of your price range, so for those people that feel the same here's a little something from me to you! So if you have any requests the just feel free to comment on one of my posts and I'll try my best but please be patient if it takes time or try to understand if I cant do it  :)

Something I like to do is review products so on this page I will have reviews along with maybe some tutorials and things I would reccomend to everyone.
